As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the maintenance department.

Compensation: Up to $21/hr, including a quarterly bonus, along with additional compensation for on-call work orders.

The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

– Completing work orders and special projects in a timely manner.
– Addressing plumbing and electrical service requests efficiently.
– Executing apartment turnovers, which include:
– Plumbing repairs
– Electrical repairs
– Drywall repair
– Painting
– Appliance repair/replacement
– Providing exceptional customer service to residents.
– Diagnosing and repairing issues in electrical systems.
– Responding promptly to service requests and on-call emergencies, as directed by the Property and Service Managers, ensuring all tasks are completed professionally.
– Maintaining the exterior of the property daily to uphold a clean and attractive curb appeal.
– Performing housekeeping duties as necessary, including snow removal during winter months when required.
– Conducting maintenance on pools, spas, and surrounding pool areas, when applicable.

Qualifications:

– Knowledge of HVAC systems.
– A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred.
– Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
– Extensive experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting.
– Plumbing, contracting, and builder certifications or licenses are advantageous. Availability for on-call duties and the flexibility to work weekends when necessary is appreciated.
