Job description:
Village Green is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the physical integrity of our apartment community, ensuring an exceptional living environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician position include:

– Promptly completing work orders and special projects.
– Addressing plumbing and electrical service requests efficiently.
– Conducting apartment turnovers, which include:
– Plumbing repairs
– Electrical repairs
– Drywall repair
– Painting
– Appliance repair or replacement
– Providing friendly and customer-oriented service to residents.
– Diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical systems.
– Responding to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
– Assisting in daily maintenance of the property’s exterior to maintain a clean and attractive curb appeal.
– Performing housekeeping duties as needed and snow removal during winter months when required.
– Carrying out property maintenance tasks for pools, spas, and associated areas, if applicable.

Qualifications for this role include:

– Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred but not mandatory.
– Strong customer service skills and general computer proficiency.
– Demonstrated expertise in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting.
