As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role within the maintenance department, ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. The compensation for this position ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, in addition to a quarterly bonus and extra compensation for emergency on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong boiler experience is essential.
  • Timely completion of work orders and special projects.
  • Addressing plumbing and electrical service requests effectively.
  • Executing apartment turnovers, which include:
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical work
    • Drywall repair
    • Painting
    • Appliance repair and replacement
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues related to electrical systems.
  • Responding promptly to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, while maintaining professionalism.
  • Assisting in the daily upkeep of the property’s exterior to ensure clean and inviting curb appeal at all times.
  • Performing housekeeping duties as required, and snow removal during winter months when necessary.
  • Maintaining property maintenance for pools, spas, and associated areas, if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • HVAC knowledge is advantageous.
  • Extensive boiler experience is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and general computer proficiency.
  • Candidates should possess significant experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance maintenance, and painting.
  • Certifications and licenses in plumbing, contracting, and building are a plus. Availability for on-call duties and the flexibility to work weekends when necessary is appreciated.
