Job description:
Village Green is currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the physical integrity of our apartment community, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities will include:

– Timely completion of work orders and special projects
– Responding to plumbing and electrical service requests
– Managing apartment turnover processes, which encompass:
– Plumbing
– Electrical work
– Drywall repair
– Painting
– Appliance repair and replacement
– Providing exceptional customer service to residents in a friendly manner
– Diagnosing and repairing issues related to electrical systems
– Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, ensuring completion in a professional and timely manner
– Assisting in the daily maintenance of the property’s exterior to maintain clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times
– Performing housekeeping duties as required, as well as snow removal during winter months when necessary
– Maintaining property amenities such as pools and spas, if applicable

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred but not essential
– Excellent customer service skills and general computer proficiency
– Strong expertise in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting
– Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
– Additional plumbing, contracting, builders certifications, and licenses are advantageous

Candidates must be available for on-call responsibilities and demonstrate flexibility to work weekends as needed.
