Job description:
Village Green is pleased to announce an immediate opening for the position of Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our property while delivering exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

– Timely completion of work orders and special projects
– Execution of plumbing and electrical service requests
– Management of apartment turnovers, including:
– Plumbing repairs
– Electrical work
– Drywall repair
– Painting
– Appliance repair and replacement
– Delivering friendly, customer-oriented service to residents
– Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues
– Responding to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, ensuring timely and professional resolution
– Assisting in daily maintenance of the property’s exterior to uphold clean and appealing curb appeal at all times
– Performing housekeeping duties as needed and snow removal during winter months, when necessary
– Maintaining properties including pools, spas, and pool areas, if applicable

Qualifications:

– Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred, but not mandatory
– Strong customer service skills and general computer proficiency
– Demonstrated experience in plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and painting
– Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
– Certifications and licenses in plumbing, contracting, or related fields are advantageous

Availability for on-call duties and flexibility to work weekends, when necessary, is highly valued.
