As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in the overall operation of the maintenance department, with responsibilities including:

– Timely completion of work orders and special projects
– Addressing plumbing and electrical service requests
– Conducting apartment turns, including:
– Plumbing
– Electrical work
– Drywall repair
– Painting
– Appliance repair and replacement
– Delivering service to residents in a friendly, customer-service-oriented manner
– Diagnosing and repairing issues in electrical systems
– Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, ensuring timely and professional resolution
– Assisting in maintaining the property’s exterior to uphold a clean and appealing curbside appearance at all times
– Performing housekeeping duties as needed, as well as snow removal during winter months when required
– Maintaining property amenities such as pools, spas, and surrounding areas, if applicable

Qualifications for this role include:

– Knowledge of HVAC systems
– 1-2 years of experience in the hotel or multifamily housing industry preferred
– Excellent customer service skills and familiarity with general computer operations
– Strong skills in plumbing, electrical work, appliance maintenance, and painting
– Relevant plumbing, contracting, and builder certifications and licenses are advantageous
– Availability for on-call duties and flexibility to work weekends when necessary
