Job description:
We are currently seeking experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to ensure the maintenance, repair, and installation of plant production and processing equipment. These positions are available for Second Shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM) and Third Shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM).

Work Environment:
This role is situated within our 24/7 manufacturing facility located in Lawton, MI.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct maintenance and repairs on production and processing equipment, utilities, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructures.
– Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, motors, pumps, control panels, pneumatic systems, and controls.
– Drive continuous improvements in equipment performance and minimize downtime.
– Collaborate closely with production teams to enhance machine uptime.
– Train fellow mechanics on equipment maintenance and setup procedures.
– Employ a computerized Maintenance Management System for accurate documentation.
– Execute preventive maintenance tasks and recommend efficiency enhancements.
– Propose and implement modifications to boost equipment reliability.
– Adhere strictly to food safety, housekeeping, and sanitation protocols at all times.
– Participate in regular meetings and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment in a Maintenance Technician capacity or similar role.
– At least 2 years of direct experience in machine maintenance and repair is required.
– Experience in a food, beverage, and/or GMP-compliant environment is preferred.
– A multi-craft skillset encompassing Electrical work, PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, and mechanical systems is essential.
– Candidates must successfully complete a maintenance aptitude test prior to hiring.
