At a glance:
– This sales leadership role entails spending 70% of your time in the field and 30% in the office, where you will lead and coach a team of Outside Sales Representatives focused on selling ADT’s core residential offerings: Home Security and Home Automation.

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will oversee the daily activities of a local Outside Sales team.
Responsibilities in the Office:
– Conduct interviews and hire Outside Sales Representatives.
– Assign and manage sales leads.
– Track and audit sales metrics.
– Provide training, one-on-one coaching and development, and facilitate team huddles.
– Support your team in managing attrition, which is critical to your overall success.
– Office hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Responsibilities in the Field:
– Meet or exceed personal sales targets.
– Inspire and motivate the team through phone and group messaging.
– Participate in ride-alongs for onboarding new hires and supporting struggling team members.
– Execute additional duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Management.
– Field hours: 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
Qualifications:
– A minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience is required, with supervisory experience preferred.
– Proficiency in using technical devices, including laptops, tablets, and other related tools.
– A natural ability to lead and motivate others effectively.
– Willingness to travel within assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle.
Working Conditions:
– Daily office work is required (30%).
– Fieldwork is conducted daily across all weather conditions (70%).
– Occasional travel may be required.
