Job description:

The Marketing and Media Assistant operates under the guidance of the established policies and procedures of the community, receiving specific directives from the Marketing and Sales Director. This role encompasses comprehensive support for the marketing and sales initiatives, as well as the coordination of closing and move-in activities. Key responsibilities include receptionist duties, managing administrative tasks, coordinating events, producing reports, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, overseeing office inventory, and providing additional administrative support.

The position requires the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies for the community, with the Marketing Director leading the creation of strategic marketing plans tailored for various occupancy levels. Continuous collaboration with the Sales teams is essential.

Organizational Relationship:

  • Reports to the Sales Director.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately, while managing the lead distribution system.
  • Greet and assist all visitors in alignment with the Life Care Services Extraordinary Impressions program.
  • Plan and execute marketing events within the established budget.
  • Prepare and maintain updates on marketing and sales reports.
  • Provide strategic leadership for all marketing initiatives at the community level.
  • Collaborate with the community team, ownership, and advertising agencies (when applicable) to devise marketing strategies for lead generation and nurturing, including but not limited to:
    • Direct Mail campaigns
    • Event planning
    • Print advertising
    • Other identified advertising channels.
  • Offer strategic guidance on developing marketing collateral and enhancing the community’s online presence, in collaboration with the Sales Director, Regional Sales Director, and Corporate Marketing Strategist.
  • Analyze data from third-party vendors to optimize relationships and communication channels, focusing on platforms such as:
    • Reputation.com
    • One Day app
    • Marchex
  • Develop and implement a robust Public Relations strategy, including outreach to local publications and media outlets.
  • Work alongside the Sales Director to plan and manage all aspects related to Resident Referral, Lead Generation, and Resident Ambassador initiatives.
  • Assess market opportunities through competitive analysis and market reviews, collaborating with the Corporate Marketing Strategist and Market Research teams.
  • Maintain awareness of the community’s profitability and its broader impact on LCS.
  • Actively participate in community leadership and owner meetings, presenting the marketing vision, approach, and strategy.
  • Conduct audits of CRM systems to ensure accurate lead attribution.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Sales and Marketing teams and other corporate support staff as applicable. Ensure effective upkeep of marketing systems, including Salesforce, C3 Leads, and C3 LinC, with the ability to generate reports and data analysis.
  • Track and manage office inventory, ordering supplies, collateral, and printed materials consistent with budget guidelines.
  • Update and manage the office calendar, including scheduling events.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual marketing plan by compiling and organizing required components.
  • Coordinate and design the marketing newsletter.
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with computer-based record keeping and word processing systems.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be self-motivated.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and media platforms.
  • Proficient in effective communication with all levels of field and corporate staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills are essential.
  • Extensive understanding of marketing techniques and proven competency in sales and marketing strategies.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the marketing field.

Compensation: Pay of up to $22/hour.
