Job Description
Job Title: Med Tech/Caregiver all shifts
Company: Homestead
Location: Houghton, MI
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $14 for a “Med Tech/Caregiver” role in Houghton, MI, is generally considered below competitive industry standards. In Michigan, caregiver positions typically range from $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. While Houghton may have a lower cost of living compared to larger urban areas, the offered rate does not seem to align with the growing demand for caregivers and the essential nature of the work, potentially making it challenging to attract and retain qualified candidates. Overall, the proposed rate may warrant reconsideration to ensure it meets both market expectations and the needs of the workforce.
