We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our dedicated team at Homestead, managing the Whispering Pines Senior Living Facility in Lake City, MI, as we seek qualified Med Techs. In this pivotal role, you will provide exceptional care and support to our cherished residents. We currently have openings for all shifts: 6 AM – 2 PM, 2 PM – 10 PM, and 10 PM – 6 AM, with part-time positions available.

As a Med Tech, your key responsibilities will include:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bed transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
– Administering medications and injections in accordance with physicians’ orders documented in medical charts
– Maintaining cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping tasks
– Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols
– Monitoring residents for changes in conditions and promptly reporting any updates to the supervisor
– Following schedules and assisting residents with repositioning
– Adhering to proper documentation procedures concerning medication administration
– Exercising sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring resident safety
– Supporting team members with their responsibilities as needed
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs promptly
– Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents during mealtime
– Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor
