AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14 per hour for a “Med Tech/Caregiver” role in Lake City, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the pay spectrum for similar positions within the healthcare and caregiving industry. According to data from 2023, median hourly wages for caregivers and medical technicians in Michigan typically range from $15 to $20, depending on factors like experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. Given the cost of living in Lake City and the demand for healthcare workers, this rate may struggle to attract qualified candidates, reflecting a potential need for employers to offer more competitive compensation packages to align with industry standards and improve retention and recruitment efforts.
