Job Description
Job Title: Med Tech/Caregiver all shifts
Company: Whispering Pines Senior Living
Location: Houghton, MI
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for a “Med Tech/Caregiver” role in Houghton, MI, is relatively competitive but may not align with the broader industry standards. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for a caregiver in Michigan generally ranges from $12 to $18, depending on experience, specific duties, and certifications. In more rural areas like Houghton, wages may lean toward the lower end of that scale, but $14 is close to the average. However, it may not fully reflect the growing demand for healthcare workers, especially as the cost of living and inflation have risen. Employers may need to consider adjusting rates to attract and retain qualified staff effectively.
