Rhino Medical Services is actively seeking qualified Medical Assistants (MAs) for an exciting part-time opportunity in Kentwood, MI, to support one of the nation’s largest Urgent Care clinic systems. This position offers a unique schedule of Wednesday to Friday, allowing for a work-life balance while providing essential patient care.
We are looking for dedicated local candidates with outstanding patient care abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering concierge-level customer service.
Opportunity Specifics:

- Assignment Dates: Immediate availability with potential for extension
- Schedule:
- Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Compensation: Competitive weekly pay
Medical Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
- Welcome and room patients efficiently.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens as needed.
- Prepare and label samples for laboratory testing.
- Obtain blood and urine samples, measure and record vital signs, and maintain clean examination rooms.
- Execute clerical tasks as required.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment within the scope of the role, both with and without the provider present.
- Adhere to all clinical and clerical protocols in accordance with company policy.
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in a clinical environment.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Ability to commute daily to Kentwood, Michigan.
- Fundamental understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and relevant clinical pharmacology within the medical assistant practice scope.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
