Job Title: Medical Assistant UC Full-Time
Company: IEP URGENT CARE JACKSON PLLC
Location: Jackson, MI
Pay: $19.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $19.50 for a Medical Assistant in Jackson, MI, is generally considered competitive but may vary when compared to the national averages and local market conditions. According to sources such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics and job market platforms, the national median wage for medical assistants typically ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, with rates potentially higher in urban areas or specialty practices. Additionally, factors such as experience, certification, and specific employer benefits play a significant role in compensation. Therefore, while $19.50 is within the acceptable range, it’s advisable to evaluate this rate against local job postings and wage growth trends to better gauge its competitiveness in the current market.
