Job description:

As a Medical Education Lead with the Stryker Interventional Spine team, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic scheduling, planning, and execution of Medical Education events for healthcare professionals nationwide. At Stryker IVS, we are committed to delivering clinically differentiated interventional solutions that alleviate pain and enhance quality of life, thereby fulfilling our mission to make every moment matter for patients. This position requires close collaboration with our Marketing team, salesforce, cross-functional partners, and customers to develop impactful in-person and virtual training programs focused on the safe and effective use of our fracture, oncology, and pain product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute educational events in support of the Medical Education and Marketing teams. This includes tasks such as agenda creation, registration, travel logistics, catering, venue sourcing, faculty management, product shipment, course communication, and feedback collection.
  • Manage education requests and budget for a designated sales area, encompassing cadaveric labs, anatomical model training sessions, education dinners, and peer-to-peer engagements.
  • Organize and promote both in-person and virtual educational programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support the development of educational content.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary documentation and requirements, adhering to Stryker compliance standards, AdvaMed Code, and relevant national and state regulations.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in the Interventional Spine product offering and procedural workflows.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our medical education and business strategy, providing insights for future strategic initiatives.
  • Assess and design educational programs, engaging stakeholders to discern their needs.
  • Establish a network and foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Prepare budget worksheets, maintain expense logs, and conduct final budget analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs by evaluating current programs, processes, and associated expenditures.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical devices or medical education.

Preferred:

  • Prior clinical experience in roles such as nurse, nurse practitioner, or clinical specialist.
  • Previous experience in event planning.

Salary for this position ranges from $75,300 to $156,900, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on location, and individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Travel requirements for this role are estimated at 40%.
