Position: Medical Front Office – Patient Service Specialist – Float
Location: E Main St (Columbus), OH Employee to float around clinics in Columbus market
Type of Employment: Full-time
Schedule: Weekdays (Hours Vary), Multiple evenings until 7pm
Compensation: Starting at $16/hr, depending on experience

As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient experience and the operational aspects of our facility. Your contribution will significantly enhance each patient’s journey, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere right from the waiting room.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients, providing them with comprehensive information regarding their visit and next appointment during check-out.
  • Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
  • Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:
Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of front desk experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
