Overview
We are seeking a full-time Medical Front Office – Patient Service Specialist – Float to join our East Side Physical Therapy Team, serving our seven clinics throughout the suburbs of Cleveland. This role offers a dynamic clinic atmosphere, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing the experiences of our physical therapy patients.
As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a key role in managing both the patient experience and the operational aspects of our outpatient physical therapy center in Mayfield Village. Your contributions will significantly impact the care experience that patients receive, beginning from the moment they arrive at the front desk.
Responsibilities
– Greet and register patients, providing them with information about what to expect during their visit, as well as details regarding their next appointment at checkout.
– Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
– Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
– Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
Qualifications
Minimum:
– High School Diploma or GED.
– A minimum of one year of front desk experience.
Preferred:
– Prior healthcare experience is advantageous.
