Job description:

As a Medical Front Office Patient Service Specialist at our Sheffield Village outpatient physical therapy center, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every patient has an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. Your contributions will influence the patient journey significantly, beginning at the front desk and extending throughout their visit.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register patients, providing them with essential information regarding their visit and details about their next appointment during the checkout process.
  • Coordinate patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
  • Collect co-payments from patients, oversee payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of front desk experience.

Preferred:

  • Background in healthcare is advantageous.
