Job description:
When patients visit our outpatient physical therapy center in Sheffield Village, we strive to provide them with an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing both the patient experience and the operational aspects of our center. Your contributions will significantly enhance each patient’s care journey, impacting their experience even before they step into the treatment room.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and register patients, providing them with information on what to expect during their visit as well as details regarding their next appointment at checkout.
– Schedule patient appointments both in-person and over the phone.
– Engage in regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
– Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
– High School Diploma or GED.
– A minimum of 1 year of front desk experience.

Preferred:
– Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
