We are seeking a highly motivated Member Services Representative to join our team on a full-time, daytime schedule. In this role, you will be integral in delivering outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, fostering an exceptional “Judgement Free” experience. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Front Desk Activities:
– Greet members and guests with exceptional customer service, ensuring that all individuals feel comfortable and welcomed.
– Answer phone calls with a friendly demeanor, assisting callers with a range of inquiries.
– Check members in, conduct tours, register new members, log amenities, and effectively communicate updates and events to members and guests.
– Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
– Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
– Utilize the POS system to assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing or payment inquiries.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
– Maintain a clean and orderly front desk area and lobby by exceeding cleanliness standards.
– Conduct routine facility cleaning and upkeep, including mopping spills under equipment, removing trash, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights.
– Ensure regular cleaning of all exercise equipment and tanning beds.
– Maintain cleanliness and stock in restrooms and wet areas.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Candidates for this position must agree to a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire, with continued employment contingent upon a satisfactory outcome.
– Exceptional customer service skills, enabling positive and professional interactions with members and colleagues that exceed expectations.
– Previous customer service experience is preferred.
– Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
– A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
– A positive, upbeat, and professional demeanor is essential.
– Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
– CPR/AED Certification must be obtained and maintained within required time frames, with the capability to perform CPR/AED during medical emergencies.

Physical Demands and Requirements:
