We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team on a part-time basis during weekday mornings from 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, all while ensuring an extraordinary “Judgement Free” experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Front Desk Activities:

• Provide a warm welcome to members and guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and assist callers with a diverse range of inquiries.
• Check in members, provide tours, enroll new members, and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
• Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Use the POS system to facilitate new membership card issuance, changes of address, and address billing or payment inquiries.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:

• Maintain the front desk and lobby to the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
• Perform regular cleaning and upkeep tasks, including mopping spills under equipment, removing trash, cleaning windows and mirrors, and organizing weights.
• Ensure all exercise equipment and tanning beds are cleaned routinely.
• Conduct regular cleaning and stocking in restrooms and wet areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Candidates for this position will be required to undergo a 7-year criminal background check within their first week of employment; continued employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check outcome.
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• An upbeat, positive, and professional attitude is essential.
• Punctuality and reliability are mandatory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification within the required timeframe and maintain the physical capability to perform CPR/AED in emergencies.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, and to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and perform repetitive hand motions.
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
• Capability to converse continuously in person or on the phone throughout the shift.
• Maintain the physical capability to administer CPR in the event of a medical emergency.
• Ability to see within a normal visual range, with or without correction.
• Ability to hear within a normal audio range, with or without correction.
