The Member Services Representative plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and energetic fitness environment for both team members and clients, all while delivering exemplary customer service to our membership base. Responsibilities:
– Greet all members and guests, prioritizing engagement and retention.
– Assist with the sales of memberships, retail items, and tanning products.
– Promote membership benefits, including access to tanning, group fitness classes, small group training, and childcare services.
– Meet new member enrollment expectations effectively.
– Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures, resolving any issues that may arise during the check-in process.
– Answer phone calls in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
– Communicate special events and promotions to members and guests.
– Address all member requests or forward them to a manager as necessary.
– Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
– Exhibit expertise in all aspects of club facilities, services, programs, and hours of operation.
– Keep the work area clean and organized.
– Navigate all front desk stations, including member check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
– Perform opening and closing checklists and duties as required.

Requirements:
– A minimum of one year of experience in a service-oriented position is preferred.
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and write effectively.
– A solid customer service orientation.
– Current CPR/AED certification is required (can be acquired within 30 days of hire).

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds.
– Physical activities required for daily tasks include prolonged standing and walking.

Reporting Structure:
– Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
