Responsibilities:

  • Greet all members and guests with an emphasis on enhancing member engagement and retention.
  • Assist with the sales of memberships, retail items, and tanning products.
  • Promote membership privileges, including tanning, group fitness, small group training, and childcare services.
  • Meet expectations for new member enrollment.
  • Facilitate the check-in process for all members and guests according to company protocols, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Answer phone calls courteously and professionally, providing assistance as needed.
  • Communicate information regarding special events to members and guests.
  • Address all member requests effectively or escalate them to a manager when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all club facilities, services, programs, and operational hours.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Navigate all aspects of the front desk operations, including check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists and duties.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading and writing.
  • A robust customer service orientation.
  • CPR/AED certification is required (may be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical stamina necessary for prolonged standing and walking throughout daily responsibilities.

Reporting Structure:

  • This position reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
