As a Member Services Representative at Fit Fusion, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic and engaging fitness environment for our team and members. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will be essential in enhancing the overall member experience within our gym.

Responsibilities:
– Welcome all members and guests with a focus on engagement and retention.
– Assist with the sale of memberships, retail items, and tanning products.
– Promote membership benefits, including access to tanning, group fitness classes, small group training, and childcare services.
– Meet enrollment goals for new members.
– Check in all members and guests in accordance with company protocols, ensuring prompt resolution of any check-in issues.
– Answer phone calls in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner.
– Communicate information about special events to both members and guests.
– Address all member requests or escalate them appropriately to management.
– Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
– Possess expert knowledge of all club facilities, services, programs, and hours of operation.
– Keep a clean and organized workspace.
– Navigate all areas of the front desk, including check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
– Complete opening and closing checklists and related responsibilities.

Requirements:
– Minimum of one year of experience in a service-oriented role is preferred.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– A solid customer service orientation.
– CPR/AED certification is required (may be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
– Physical demands include prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Reporting Structure:
– This position reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
