Role Summary
The Team Member is tasked with delivering a positive experience for our members by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Manage all front desk activities, including:
- Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and addressing a variety of inquiries.
- Checking members into the system efficiently.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours for prospective members.
- Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
- Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Helping maintain the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is essential.
- A strong passion for fitness and health.
- An upbeat and positive attitude is necessary.
- Punctuality and reliability are critical.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and coworkers, consistently exceeding member expectations.
