Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a positive experience for our members by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage all front desk activities, including:
- Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
- Checking members into the system efficiently.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours for prospective members.
- Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
- Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
- Contributing to the maintenance of the club’s neatness and cleanliness.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- A strong passion for fitness and health is essential.
- An upbeat and positive attitude is a must.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding member expectations.
