Role Summary
The Team Member is instrumental in cultivating a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage all front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and addressing various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Assisting with new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Facilitating necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
    • Contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy is required.
  • A passion for fitness and health is essential.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude is a must.
  • Punctuality and reliability are critical.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and resolve problems effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
