The Mental Health Provider is responsible for developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, maintaining thorough documentation of clinical progress, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions to support individuals, couples, and families. Additionally, the Mental Health Provider may lead group sessions, educational workshops, and collaborate closely with the clinical team to facilitate each patient’s journey toward optimal health, ensuring coordinated and streamlined care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties (may include, but are not limited to):
- Deliver patient-centered, outcomes-based, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families aged 12 years and older.
- Lead support groups and/or psychoeducation groups as appropriate.
- Create and present psychoeducational webinars and workshops on various mental health topics.
- Collaborate with behavioral health and medical clinicians to ensure integrated continuity of care for patients.
Administrative Duties (may include, but are not limited to):
- Utilize computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Address patients’ social needs and utilize appropriate internal or external referral sources for specialty care, hospitalization, or advanced psychiatric evaluations and treatments.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s level, licensed mental health clinician, which may include psychologists, licensed counselors, licensed social workers, and licensed marriage & family therapists among other specialties (LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, and/or PhD).
- If currently pursuing independent licensure, must be licensed within two years of the hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required or must be obtained upon hire.
- Demonstrated experience in providing counseling and mental health services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and related psychological issues.
- Preferred: Two or more years of experience as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician.
- Preferred: Experience utilizing evidence-based treatment strategies for various behavioral health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
- Preferred: Experience in behavioral interventions, critical incident management, and case management.
