Job description:

Merchandise Associates are essential in promoting and facilitating the sale of officially licensed, event-specific merchandise. In this role, you will actively engage with customers by greeting them warmly and providing assistance as needed. Your responsibilities will include efficiently handling cash and credit transactions, maintaining merchandise organization, and stocking products.

Prior retail or customer service experience is advantageous, although comprehensive training will be provided before the commencement of events. We seek enthusiastic applicants who demonstrate initiative and a positive demeanor, as you will play a vital role in delivering a world-class customer experience in our retail spaces during events.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Foster a fun and professional environment for team members and guests.
  • Proactively greet and assist all customers entering the venue.
  • Adhere to and uphold Legends’ standards and policies.
  • Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently while following cash protection protocols; seek opportunities to enhance individual and venue performance.
  • Support your supervisor in maintaining a neat, organized, clean, and fully stocked location for all events and set-ups.
  • Assist with the stocking and merchandising efforts as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Friendly, self-motivated individuals with a passion for engaging with new people in dynamic event environments are desired.
  • A strong willingness to exceed guest expectations is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Expect consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the venue for extended periods.
  • Ability to consistently lift and transport up to 30 lbs.
