The Key Carrier role serves as an elevated extension of the Coordinator position. Key Carriers flexibly alternate their responsibilities based on store needs, primarily fulfilling Coordinator duties while also stepping into leadership roles to oversee all store operations. A Key Carrier must possess open availability, including nights and weekends, and exemplify exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
  • Cultivate a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assume the role of Manager on Duty, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the store team’s performance, ensuring tasks align with store objectives and priorities.
  • Address immediate customer service matters and provide constructive coaching to Associates.
  • Use discretion regarding customer service policies to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain proper Associate coverage in service areas to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
  • Ensure Associates comply with all operational procedures.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities while providing updates on progress.
  • Deliver and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Mentor and coach Associates while providing feedback and recognition.
  • Collaborate with Management on training needs to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support shrink reduction initiatives.
  • Advocate for safety awareness and uphold a secure environment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
