We are seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team. Seasonal Merchandisers report directly to a Sales Manager and engage with our major retail partners, such as Home Depot and Lowe’s. Key responsibilities include executing merchandising directives, establishing positive relationships with store personnel and customers, and communicating inventory opportunities to the Scotts Sales team.

In this role, you will:
– Merchandise products both inside and outside of retail locations
– Inform customers and store associates about Scotts brand products
– Ensure consistent stocking and appealing presentation of products
– Identify opportunities for solution selling and increased shelf space
– Support the Sales Manager and store employees as needed
– Collaborate effectively with both independent and team efforts to complete assigned tasks

To succeed in this role, you will need:
– Experience in retail, merchandising, and/or stocking is preferred
– Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset
– Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays and weekends
– Proficiency in using company-provided technology
– A current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
– The physical capability to routinely walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs, and work in various weather conditions
