We are seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team. In this role, you will report directly to a Sales Manager and work within major retail locations, including Home Depot and Lowe’s. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass executing merchandising directives and product resets, establishing positive relationships with store personnel and customers, and communicating inventory opportunities to the Scotts Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise products both inside and outside retail stores
• Provide customers and store associates with in-depth knowledge of Scotts brands
• Ensure products are consistently stocked and presented in an appealing manner
• Identify opportunities for solution selling and incremental space allocation
• Offer support to the Sales Manager and store employees as necessary
• Collaborate effectively as a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently

Qualifications for Success:

• Preferred experience in retail, merchandising, and/or stocking
• Possess a problem-solving mindset and a service-oriented attitude
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
• Proficient in using company-provided technology
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical capability to routinely walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain)
