Job Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with a diverse range of customers in a dynamic retail environment. Utilize digital tools to effectively communicate, educate, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
- As a Mobile Expert, consistently leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process. Identify customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to thoroughly demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. By recommending tailored wireless solutions and guiding customers in utilizing the T-Mobile app, you will foster stronger relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, acquiring new skills, understanding products and processes, and familiarizing yourself with systems and reference resources. Regularly review personal performance, current promotions, and platform updates to remain Customer Ready. Engage in continuous learning to enhance your skills and deliver exceptional experiences. Collaborate with nearby store locations to ensure comprehensive customer onboarding, and participate in skills practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, and adherence to opening and closing procedures. You will be responsible for securing kiosk assets and promptly reporting any incidents to your manager.
- Embrace a customer-obsessed mindset. Possess a passion for connecting with customers on a personal level, building rapport, trust, and loyalty through every interaction. Committed to providing outstanding service, you will actively reach out to potential customers and drive sales efforts within your location. Follow up with customers, manage referral processes, and cultivate relationships with both new and existing clientele. You will also have the authority to perform price overrides for specialty offers tailored to National Retail.
- Foster collaborative relationships with nearby leadership and teams to enhance the overall customer experience, from account setup to device support and ongoing account servicing.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Work Experience
- A minimum of 30 days’ experience as a T-Mobile Mobile Associate (Required)
- At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Hourly Base Pay
- $16.50
Within the first 90 days of employment at T-Mobile, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and can earn incentive pay while accomplishing training milestones. Upon successful completion, they transition into the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives depend on performance and full-time status. All T-Mobile employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Moreover, all employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant, reflecting our commitment to collective ownership.
