This role is crucial for connecting our manufacturing systems, databases, and business intelligence platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and integration throughout the organization. • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a prerequisite.
  • Backgrounds in data integration related to finance or banking will not be suitable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Data Systems: Assist in designing and implementing data solutions to enhance production systems, including real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting dashboards.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, API failures, and PLC integration challenges within production environments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, engineering, and production teams to gather requirements, implement system improvements, and ensure the availability of manufacturing data for analytics and operational decision-making.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document system architectures, API workflows, database schemas, and integration processes while providing clear reports and updates on the status of data integration projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to craft complex queries and stored procedures, while optimizing database performance.
  • Experience in API development (REST, SOAP, or similar) and integrating with third-party systems such as ERP, MES, and SCADA.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and their integration into enterprise-level data systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC) related to PLC and sensor interactions.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, SCADA) and their significance in production operations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their associated data integration services is advantageous.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years in a technical role involving data integration, manufacturing systems, or industrial automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating manufacturing systems (including PLCs) with databases or business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with low-latency data requirements and real-time data systems.

Soft Skills:
