Job description:
As a Night Guest Services Agent, your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet, register, and check out guests, contributing to the hotel’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring financial profitability. You will be expected to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

– Greet guests and complete the registration process, which includes inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting appropriate rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet, and guiding guests to their rooms or arranging for a bell person if needed.
– Assist guests during check-out by accurately accounting for rooms and services, utilizing the point-of-sale system, handling financial transactions, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various payment methods, converting foreign currency, providing change, and managing gift certificates and cards.
– Exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of hotel information, such as room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area details, while addressing guest questions and inquiries effectively.
– Implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, aimed at maximizing room occupancy.
– Respond to guest inquiries and requests with timeliness, friendliness, and efficiency, ensuring a positive guest experience.
– Address guest complaints by conducting thorough research to resolve issues and negotiate satisfactory solutions.
– Receive, input, retrieve, and communicate messages to guests as necessary.
