This position offers a competitive compensation of $18.95 per hour, with a potential rate increase after 90 days. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 AM until completion of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate delivery trucks and adhere to scheduled delivery times.
  • Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, ensuring proper placement in designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as needed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Willingness to drive and work in varying weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license issued in your state of legal residence, with appropriate endorsements if required.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical examinations and pre-employment tests, including drug screening and background checks.
  • A maximum of two traffic violation convictions in the past two years, with no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no license suspensions during that timeframe.
  • No prior commercial or professional driving experience is necessary; however, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, along with six months of local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
  • Experience with hand cart deliveries is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English, particularly concerning job responsibilities and safety regulations.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
