Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing a shift or specific segment of security operations across multiple locations, under the guidance of line management. This role includes supervising Field Supervisors and security personnel, ensuring compliance with post orders through regular inspections, and coaching and training staff. The supervisor will also handle administrative tasks to support branch operations.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
This position primarily involves managing a segment of an office’s guarding operations and applies exclusively to salaried roles responsible for performing essential functions independently, without immediate supervision for at least 50% of the time. Roles performing routine duties parallel to subordinates for more than 40% of the time will be classified as Field Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee a shift and/or segment of security operations at multiple sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery by subordinate officers and supervisory staff.
  2. Maintain service standards through regular client communication, service evaluations, post inspections, and timely corrective actions.
  3. Engage with line management and client representatives for updates and resolutions of potential issues, providing support during client onboarding, input on security assessments, and communication of post order changes.
  4. Collaborate with management on the orientation, training, development, and retention of high-quality staff, ensuring respectful treatment of all employees and executing disciplinary measures as necessary.
  5. Maintain and submit payroll records and ensure the accuracy of client and company reports.
  6. Foster a positive, professional work environment that complies with legal standards, company policies, and procedures, ensuring staff understanding and adherence.
  7. Liaise with management regarding scheduling, staffing, and operational logistics to ensure effective service delivery while managing labor costs, and reviewing reports to ensure compliance with client directives.
  8. Contribute to organizational initiatives, assisting management with the resolution of legal, financial, human resources, and administrative matters.
  9. Perform similar tasks and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable means of communication (pager or phone).
  • Reliable transportation (public or private).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Education/Experience:
