Position Summary:
The Surgery Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the operating room by ensuring timely room turnover, managing inventory stocking, and performing housekeeping duties. This position also involves the responsible transportation of inpatients to and from holding bays, along with the conveyance of specimens. The Surgery Support Specialist works closely under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care and the Surgical Services Coordinator.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months of direct patient care experience or housekeeping experience in an acute healthcare setting.
