Zone #1 Drivers have the opportunity to choose from several premium pay plans.
For Contract Drivers (1099):
- Earn 70 cents per mile (CPM), with an average of 2,600 to 2,800 miles per week.
- Enjoy a Day Rate of $300, averaging between $1,600 and $1,800 per week.
- Alternatively, receive 30% of gross pay, with an average earning of $1,800 per week.
For Company Drivers (W2):
- Start at 63 CPM, with an average of 2,600 to 2,800 miles per week.
- For a limited time, new W2 Drivers can benefit from a premium starting rate of 63 CPM (the base rate is 60 CPM; conditions apply).
- A Day Rate of $260, with average earnings between $1,400 and $1,600 per week.
- A comprehensive benefits package including Medical, RX, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Per Diem.
For Zone #2, Real Trucking offers Contract Drivers (1099) the option of 65 CPM or 30% of gross pay, while W2 Drivers earn 60 CPM.

Payment Structure:

W2: $0.60 CPM (all empty and loaded miles paid)
1099: $0.65 CPM (all empty and loaded miles paid) -
Additional Compensation
Extra Stop: $50 per stop
Detention: $15/hour (applies after the first 2 hours)
Layover: W2: $125/day; 1099: $150/day (when truck is broken) - Flat Rate
W2: $275
1099: $325
(Flat rate is contingent on making full use of your hours.)
A minimum of 9 hours of work per day is required to be eligible for the flat rate on weekends; otherwise, payment will be prorated.
For W2 Drivers, a portion of the check is eligible for Per Diem, resulting in greater weekly take-home pay. We cover 50% of medical, dental, and vision premiums, and provide one week of paid vacation after one year of service.
For 1099 Drivers:
- Occupational insurance is provided at $36.75 weekly.
- An escrow/security deposit of $1,200 is required (charged at $200 per week for the first 6 weeks) and will be returned 30 days after the last day worked, should the driver leave the company or go on extended vacation.
- To be classified as a 1099 worker, drivers must demonstrate an open business status with the IRS, including an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and a dedicated business bank account. Payment will not be processed to personal accounts; otherwise, the driver will commence on a W2 basis.
Owner-Operator (O/O) Terms:
- Owners receive 80% of their earnings; we retain 20%, which covers dispatching, trailer usage, maintenance, and cargo insurance.
- Weekly deductions include:
- Pre-Pass: $5
- Log Book: $10
- OCCAI: $36.75
- Parking options include free at Broadview and paid at Hillsborough, NJ.
- An escrow/security deposit of $2,000 is required (charged at $250 per week for the first 8 weeks) and will be returned 30 days after the last day worked, should the driver leave or go on extended vacation.

Expenses Covered:
- Company Drivers: All expenses covered (excluding new 1099 drivers).
- O/O or Lease Drivers: 50% of expenses covered, including hotel, Uber, flights, fuel, and other travel expenses upon starting with the company. Drug tests and random drug tests are also covered.
Referral Bonus: Earn $1,500 ($750 awarded after the first full week and an additional $750 after 90 days of employment).
Requirements:
- Must be at least 23 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- No more than 1 moving violation within the last year, and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years; no accidents in the last 3 years.
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program) records.
- No DUI or criminal convictions.
