The Overnight Member Services Representative plays a pivotal role in fostering an engaging and dynamic fitness environment for team members while providing exceptional customer service to our members. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cleaning assignments throughout the overnight shift.
  • Prepare the facility for the morning shift.
  • Welcome all members and guests with a focus on engagement and retention.
  • Assist in the sales of memberships, retail items, and tanning products.
  • Promote membership privileges, including tanning, group fitness, small group training, and childcare services.
  • Meet new member enrollment targets.
  • Check in all members and guests in accordance with company protocols, addressing any check-in issues as necessary.
  • Handle incoming phone calls in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Communicate special events to members and guests.
  • Process all member requests or escalate to management as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all club facilities, services, programs, and operating hours.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Navigate all front desk functions, including check-in, Relax & Recover services, guest services, and membership sales.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists and associated tasks.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with proficiency in both reading and writing.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • CPR/AED certification is required and can be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires physical effort related to daily duties, including prolonged standing and walking.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
