Responsibilities
- Oversee cleaning assignments throughout the overnight shift.
- Prepare the facility for the morning shift operations.
- Welcome all members and guests with an emphasis on engagement and retention.
- Assist with the sales of memberships, retail items, and tanning products.
- Promote membership benefits, including tanning, group fitness classes, small group training, and childcare services.
- Meet enrollment targets for new members.
- Check in all members and guests in accordance with company protocols, addressing any check-in issues proactively.
- Answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communicate information about special events to members and guests.
- Address all member requests or escalate them to a manager as necessary.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of club facilities, services, programs, and schedules.
- Ensure a clean and organized work station.
- Navigate all front desk stations, including check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
- Complete opening and closing checklists and perform related duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-oriented role is preferred.
- Proficient communication skills, with strong reading and writing abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills and orientation.
- CPR/AED certification is required (may be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Physical Requirements
- Capable of lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Daily responsibilities require prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
