Job description:

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This position also entails closing the daily business operations and ensuring the creation of an accurate bank deposit for the following day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries in a courteous manner and assisting callers with a variety of questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member registrations.
    • Guiding prospective members on tours of the facility.
    • Processing necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
    • Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and orderly club environment.
    • Closing shifts for the business day.
    • Preparing the bank deposit for the following day.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
