Job description:

As a Night Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in exceeding customer needs and expectations by delivering efficient, accurate, and friendly check-out service and shopping assistance.

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, ensuring the well-being of Team Members, customers, and products.
  • Process customer transactions by scanning items or manually inputting prices in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Finalize sales and collect payments by accurately totaling orders and accepting payment from customers.
  • Keep shelves organized and neat by blocking and straightening as needed.
  • Assist with light stocking duties and promptly inform management of any out-of-stock items.
  • Ensure misplaced items are relocated to their proper locations.
  • Vigilantly monitor customers at pumps to prevent drive-offs and unsafe practices related to gasoline containers, as well as to manage multiple vehicles during transactions.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards for equipment, counter areas, floors, restrooms, and the exterior pump area, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale of cigarettes.
  • Collaborate with other store Team Members to maintain store security.
  • Follow procedures for handling coupons effectively.
  • Understand the selling process for lottery tickets and gift cards.
  • Provide assistance in the kitchen area as needed.
