Role Summary
As a Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to enhance the member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Manage all front desk activities, which include:
    • Answering phones in a friendly and professional manner, checking in members, signing up new members, and conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Facilitating necessary updates to members’ accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills is required.
  • A passion for fitness and health is essential.
  • A positive and proactive attitude is a must.
  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, the ability to empathize, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
