Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in cultivating a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Manage all front desk operations, which include:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner, checking in members, facilitating new member sign-ups, and providing tours for prospective members.
    • Facilitating updates to member accounts as needed.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • A genuine passion for health and fitness.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with both members and co-workers, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
