Job description:

The P21 Business Applications Specialist at Wright Technical Services will hold a pivotal role in the administration, configuration, support, upgrading, and management of our client’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a primary focus on Prophet 21 and JobBOSS. This position entails the development of reports, management of integrations, and provision of end-user support. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Quality, and Purchasing, to ensure that ERP systems and related tools effectively and efficiently meet business requirements.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
• A four-year degree in Technology Services or an equivalent discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in administering and managing ERP systems, particularly Prophet 21 and/or JobBOSS.
• Proficient in report creation and management utilizing tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, Phocas, or similar applications.
• Solid understanding of database administration, especially with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with EDI integrations and associated technologies.
• Experience in providing end-user support within a ticketing system environment, such as Jira.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and external vendors.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Avalara Tax.
• Familiarity with GIT (revision control system).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and PowerShell scripting.
• SQL development experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and support ERP systems (Prophet 21 and JobBOSS) to meet organizational needs.
• Design and develop comprehensive reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, Phocas, and Grow.
• Manage and maintain EDI integrations, including Comparatio.
• Collaborate with external vendors, notably the eCommerce vendor American Eagle, for seamless system operations.
• Oversee and maintain database servers using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Provide technical end-user support, utilizing Jira for ticket management.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ascertain system requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with system upgrades, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure overall system stability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Technology Manager.
