Job description:
GENERAL SUMMARY
This full-time position is eligible for benefits and involves a 40-hour work week on a day shift. The role focuses on the administrative management of the Picture Archival and Communication Systems (PACS).
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee database and server management
– Address and manage PACS anomalies and implement change processes to prevent recurrence
– Manage daily transcription issues and ensure the timely finalization of reports
– Lead imaging IS projects from initiation through to completion
– Contribute to operational and capital budget requests
– Direct and coordinate end-user training
– Serve as a liaison for digital imaging initiatives within the department and across other departments
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
– High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of cumulative experience; or an Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree; or 4 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES PREFERRED:
– Credential as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred
– Credential as a Medical Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is preferred
