Job Title: Park Custodian

Company: City of Auburn Hills

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly wage of $15 for a Park Custodian position in Auburn Hills, MI, is generally below the industry standard for similar roles in the region. While entry-level positions in custodial services may start around this rate, many employers offer $16 to $20 per hour to attract and retain workers, especially given the cost of living and labor market conditions. Additionally, considering Michigan’s minimum wage is set to increase in the coming years, the $15 rate may not be competitive enough to attract quality candidates. Thus, for optimal recruiting and retention, an adjustment to the hourly wage may be necessary for this position.
