Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality, quantity, and timeliness of daily meal production. The incumbent will prepare food in accordance with Parkhurst recipes, standards, and procedures, all while adhering to strict sanitary guidelines.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare food following Parkhurst recipes and implement the "batch" cooking method.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality and quantity of food throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
  • Maintain appropriate line presentation, utilizing correct pans and utensils, garnishing as specified, and ensuring food is served at the proper temperatures.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, such as line servers, regarding food items.
  • Complete daily production sheets accurately.
  • Ensure all food items are stored and dated properly.
  • Adhere to HACCP guidelines when utilizing leftovers.
  • Follow the established cleaning schedule, employing "clean as you go" techniques.
  • Maintain open communication with management regarding product and supply needs.
  • Comply with the uniform dress code and uphold personal hygiene standards.
  • Adhere to all Parkhurst Gold Standards and embrace Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Offer assistance to colleagues whenever possible.
  • Execute any other duties as assigned by management.
